SmackDown Live - April 2, 2019

This post is super late. This week kicked me and I am super behind.

In terms of SmackDown story lines we are just going to get to the point here - Kofi Mania has officially began! Woot for those people. There is always this very dramatic signing of paperwork before Pay Per Views which I think it just a bunch of theatrics. Like they would sign anything official in the middle of a ring without lawyers. Whatevs people. I'm a little dreading this Wrestle Mania match because the drive appears to be more on Kofi's side that poor Daniel Bryan's. I also am not clear what will happen if Daniel loses. Do we no longer have this story? What is the long-term plan for this? What happens with the wood belt? So many questions!

The other match that was set up was for AJ Styles and Randy Orton. I wasn't sure how this would play out because I think there might be some history here that I don't fully understand. It would be helpful for *new* people if they give us some backstories. Like hey, remember 5 years ago when we did this? But cool. I just kind of sit and stare at the screen confused. No help.

So - we are on the way to Wrestle Mania where there will be a lot of matches and will pretty much take up my whole Sunday. I'm pretty excited for my first Wrestle Mania and all the magic that comes with that!
